FRANK DANFORTH DIES AT AGE OF 84

Frank Danforth, former Winterset resident, who had lived in Des Moines for a number of years, died Monday, August 29th, at the home of his sister, Mrs. Stella James of Winterset.

Mr. Danforth was born in Winterset, December 6, 1870, a son of William R. and Lydia Benge Danforth, pioneer residents of this community. Here he resided until he moved to Des Moines.

He was one of nine children, all of whom have preceded him in death except two sisters, Mrs. James of Winterset, and Mrs. June Woodward of Des Moines.

The Rev. Leroy Bussinger conducted his funeral services, at Andersons home for funerals, this afternoon at 2 o'clock, and burial was in the Winterset cemetery.
