Funeral services for Charles Danforth, a native of Madison county, will be held this Thursday morning, Jan. 6, at the Wee Kirk of the Heather chapel in Glendale, Calif. Burial will be in Forrest Lawn cemetery there.
Mr. Danforth, died at his home in Glendale Jan. 3, following a brief illness. He was 82 years of age.
The son of William R. and Lydia Benge Danforth, he was born in this community and continued to reside here until moving to California in 1921.
He is survived by his wife, the former Pearl Heard, and three children, Lillian Jenke of Glendale, Helen Vorrhis of Phoenix, Ariz., and Paul Danforth of Glendale; and four grandchildren.
