MRS. LYLE R. DAVIS SERVICES WEDNESDAY

Mrs. Lyle R. Davis, a life-long resident of Winterset, died at her home here Sunday, Aug. 21, after an illness of more than a year with cancer. She was 48 years of age.

Mrs. Davis was the former Florence Young, daughter of Joseph and Ann Hamner Young. She was born in Winterset Nov. 30, 1906, and spent her life here.

She was married March 9, 1935 to Lyle R. Davis, who survives her. Nearest other relatives are nephews and nieces.

Funeral services were to be held this Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Richards Funeral home here, conducted by the Rev. Glen E. Pickett, pastor of the First Baptist church of Winterset. Burial was to be made in the Winterset cemetery.
