4-YEAR-OLD DIES AT ST. CHARLES

Michael Wayne Campbell, aged 4, died Saturday, July 30 at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Armstrong of St. Charles, with whom he had been making his home the last three years.

Death was caused by a brain tumor, from which he had been ill the past eight months.

He was a son of Lowell H. and Dorothy Armstrong Campbell, and was born Oct. 15, 1950, in Quonset Point, R. I. He is survived by his parents; his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Glen Campbell of Kansas City, Mo., and his great grandparents, Mrs. Emma Cole of Winterset and Mr. and Mrs. Will Campbell of Oelwein.

Funeral services were held Aug. 2 from the St. Charles Methodist church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Eldon Haworth. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
