OSCEOLA MAN IS KILLED AT TRURO

George Norton, age 53, of Osceola, was killed here Thursday evening while repairing light lines. Mr. Norton, who was an employee of the Iowa Southern Utilities company, had been doing line work for the company for 20 years and has been making Truro since the I. S. U. began serving this town.

Mr. Norton had climbed a pole to see after the time clock on the street lights, and is thought to have touched a live wire, falling about twenty feet to the ground. Dr. Sayre of St. Charles and Dr. Story of Osceola were called at once and the people of Truro worked with the body until the doctors arrived. Artificial respiration was applied for more than an hour with no success. The body was moved to the Webster Funeral (incomplete)
