Death of Norwood Norman

Word was received here this morning of the death of Norwood Norman, at the Fitzsimmons hospital at Denver. Mr. Norman was a former resident of this county, but more recently had been residing in Des Moines, where he was a deputy in the Polk county treasurer's office for a number of years. He went to the hospital last March, and an operation was performed on Monday. He regained consciousness but grew worse.

His brother, Earl Norman, of Jefferson township had gone to Denver, last Saturday to be with him. He and his brother's wife and their two daughters, will accompany the body back to Des Moines, where funeral services will be held. Definite arrangements had not been made however when the Madisonian went to press last evening.

Mr. Norman was a son of Mr. and Mrs. I. M. Norman. He leaves in addition to his wife and two daughters, three brothers, Earl of this county, Clarence of Des Moines and and Joe of Heston, Texas.
