Obituary

Jacob Anderson was born in Ohio, February 1st, 1822. He removed first to Indiana and thence to Wisconsin. A year ago last November he came to Macksburg. After visiting here a short time he went to Missouri to visit his father, but his son, John moving here from Wisconsin, he came back and made his home with his two sons, John and C. N. Anderson. He showed signs of failing health, but being naturally a powerful man, the disease made show inroads, but after long and severe suffering, death came to his release. “The finger of God touched him, and he slept.”
