WILLIAM KELLEHER KILLED IN AUTO CRASH

William Kelleher, eighteen-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Kelleher of Des Moines, was killed shortly after midnight this morning in an auto accident east of Des Moines. Full particulars were not learned here, but it was stated that the youth was killed instantly when his car crashed into the rear of a semitrailer, that had slowed up, when approaching a bridge.

The young man had lived on a farm north of Bevington with his parents until they moved to Des Moines a few years ago. He was graduated from Dowling high school in Des Moines in 1939 and since then had been on the farm in Crawford township and employed in Des Moines.

He is survived by his parents and his thirteen brothers and sisters. No funeral arrangements had been made when the Madisonian went to press.
