Mrs. Mary Jones of Des Moines, the mother of Mrs. Maude Garrett, of Winterset, died Saturday morning at her home at 1010 8th street after an extended illness. Mrs. Jones, who was 82 years of age, had been in poor health for several weeks. Funeral services were held at Dunn's funeral home on Grand avenue, Monday morning October 7th, and burial was made in Glendale cemetery.
Those driving from here to attend the services in addition to Mr. and Mrs. Garrett, included Mesdames George Pratt, Harry Doak, Joe Allgeyer, L. Lowe and F. S. Hamilton.
