LILLIAN CAPPS Services Held

Funeral services were held here this Tuesday for Lillian L. Capps of Winterset, who died at her home here last Friday, March 7, 1975. She was 45 years of age.

Lillian Louise Capps was born at Orient,Iowa on May 26, 1929, the daughter of Arthur L. and Elma E. Claiser Purdy. She was married to Willis H. Capps at Troy, Kansas on October 5, 1946.

Mrs. Capps had lived in Winterset for the past 17 years, moving here from Orient in 1958.

Survivors include her husband, Willis; five sons, Lewis, Earl, Larry, Jeffrey and David; and two daughters, Carol and Dianna. Other survivors include five grandsons; one brother, Arthur S. Purdy of Orient; and four sisters, Della Donnovan and Betty Trenkle, both of Creston, Helen Speed of Orient and Susan Tedrow of Nebraska City, Nebraska.

Mrs. Capps was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one son.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 11 at the Collins Funeral Home in Winterset, with the Rev. Ross Shinn of Orient presiding. Burial was in the Orient Cemetery.
