John C. Lynch

John C. Lynch, while delivering milk for the Northland Dairy, was instantly killed when a street car crashed into his wagon at East Ninth street and Morton avenue, Des Moines, Friday morning, October 24th.

Mr. Lynch was born near Cumming, April 28, 1897, the youngest son of John C. and Anna Lynch, who have preceded him in death. He resided in this community the greater part of his life, attending the grade schools of this place and later St. Ambrose college, Davenport. For the past nine years, he has been employed in Des Moines.

He leaves to mourn, two brothers, James and Edward J., both of Cumming and two sisters, Mary of Des Moines and Mrs. Katherine Kitt of Truro and a host of relatives and friends.

The funeral was held from the home of his brother, Edward Lynch to St. Johns church at Cumming. Rev. Father McDonald was celebrant at the requiem high mass and Professor Magin from St. Ambrose cathedral, Des Moines, sang the mass.
