Elderly Winterset Resident Had Been Ill About Three Weeks
Mrs. I. I. Trindle, long-time resident of Winterset and Madison county, died Tuesday night at her home in Winterset after an illness of about three weeks. She was 68 years of age.
Mrs. Trindle was born in Madison county, March 28, 1871, the daughter of John and Mary Brooker. After her marriage to I. I. Trindle they moved to Nebraska, remaining there for five years. Outside of those five years, her entire life was spent in Madison county.
Mr. Trindle died five years ago. Her only near surviving relatives are two sisters, Mrs. Henry Imes of St. Charles, and Mrs. Otto Coe of Des Moines.
Funeral services will be held this Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home in Winterset.
