MRS. M. THOMPSON DIES

Macksburg--(Special)--Jan. 8.--

Mrs. Marinus Thompson died at her home southwest of town on January 2 after a few days illness. The Thompson family have resided in this community for 23 years. She leaves besides her husband, one son, Roland, and his wife, one sister, several brothers and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church on Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Frank Moore of Afton. Burial was made in the Moore cemetery.

Macksburg

Funeral services were held her Friday afternoon at the Methodist church for Mrs. Marinus Thompson. She had been very well for some time and died Tuesday evening following an attack of pneumonia. Burial was made in the Moon cemetery.
