BARBARA LUCRETIA GRESHAM

Barbara Lucretia Gresham was born in Polk county 1859. She was the daughter of James and Nancy Wilson. She was married to J. S. Gresham, December 4th 1877. She lived on the old home place near Booneville for three years and then moved to Guthrie county and made her home there until 1916. Then moving to Earlham where she has lived since 1916. Passed away at her home January 8th 1945 at the age of 85 years, two months and eight days.

She leaves one adopted daughter, Anna Davis of Des Moines and several nieces and nephews and a host of friends to mourn her loss.

Funeral services were held in the Hamilton funeral home in Des Moines, Wednesday at 12:30 o'clock, the Rev. Arthur Henry officiating. Burial was in the Laurel Hill cemetery.
