THOMAS FOSTER DIES

Lorimor Special-Sept. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Lorimor Methodist church for Thomas Foster, 75, life-time resident of Union and Madison counties who passed away Monday evening, Aug. 29th at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ruth Sawhill in Des Moines.

Mr. Foster was employed by the Chicago Great Western railroad for 47 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife two years ago. Two sons, Earl of Los Angeles and Burl of Des Moines and three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Sawhill of Des Moines, Mrs. Jane Haskill of Des Moines and Mrs. Naomi Parrott of Lorimor survive. Also 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Funeral Friday For Tom Foster

LORIMOR—Funeral services for Tom Foster, 75, will be held at 2 p. m. Friday at the Methodist church here. Burial will be at Peru, Ia.

Mr. Foster died Monday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ruth Sawhill, in Des Moines.

He had been a member of the Great Western railroad bridge gang until his retirement six years ago. He had been in ill health for several months.
