William Stanley Overton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Overton, was born in Madison county, Iowa, May 2, 1930; and departed this life Jan. 13, 1940, at the age of 9 years, 8 months and 11 days.
He was a patient little sufferer. Although he suffered much he never complained. For over a year he had attended the Four Square Sunday school.
He leaves to mourn his loss his parents; two grandmothers, Mrs. Laura Overton, and Mrs. Maude Kelsey; several aunts, uncles and cousins, and a host of friends. His two grandfathers preceded him in death.
