GUY WILSON DIED ON SUNDAY IN CALIFORNIA

Guy Wilson, former Winterset youth, died at Arcadia, Cal., Sunday, according to information communicated to relatives here this week. He was 44 years of age, and had been ill since February with influenza, followed by pneumonia.

Mr. Wilson was the son of Coates Wilson of Winterset whose death occurred May 11. He had left Winterset as a young man.

Funeral services were held in California this Wednesday and burial was made there.

Guy E. Wilson

Guy E. Wilson, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Coates Wilson of Winterset, died May 26 in a hospital in Arcadia, Calif., at the age of 43 years. Wilson had been ill since February and was taken to the hospital on Friday for treatment of pneumonia, following an illness of influenza, where he died on Sunday.

He was born in Madison county, Winterset, on August 24, 1896. He was married in 1927 to a girl of Minneapolis, Minn. They made their home here for a few years, later moving to California.

He is survived by his wife; his mother in California, five sisters, Mrs. Mabel Orr, Winterset; Mrs. E. G. Campbell, Des Moines; Mrs. H. G. Horning, Dallas, Texas; Mrs. W. H. Tenny, Cumberland, Wisc.; Mrs. C. B. Tompkins, Bellflower Calif. His father preceded him in death May 11, 1940.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 29, and burial was made in California.
