RIDLEY COLE DIES AT HOSPITAL IN OSCEOLA

Lorimor Resident Passes At Age of 68 Years

Ridley C. Cole, a life-long resident of Madison, Union and Clarke counties, died last Friday, June 23 at the Osceola hospital after an illness of many weeks. He was 68 years of age.

Mr. Cole was born near St. Charles Sept. 10, 1881. He was married Dec. 29, 1902 to Katharine Schaff of Murray. They were the parents of four children, one dying in infancy.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Berry of Lorimor and Mrs. Erma Winkler of Omaha; a son, Russell Cole of Indianola; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters and five brothers.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Lorimor Methodist church in charge of the Rev. Mr. Wilkins. Burial was made at Union cemetery.
