Rozella Bussanmas, Bevington

Rozella Mae Bussanmas, 74, of Bevington died of a respiratory ailment May 27, 2001 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 31 at Assumption Catholic Church in Churchville. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, at Brooks Funeral Care in Clive with a scripture service to be held at 8:30 p.m. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines.

Rozella Bussanmas was born Dec. 2, 1926 in Des Moines to Douglas and Opal DeBord. She was a graduate of North High School in Des Moines. A resident of Bevington for 20 years, she had been an operator with Answer Iowa. Rozella was a member of the Bevington Garden Club, North High Alumni, Assumption Catholic Church, Covered Bridge SAMS and American Legion Auxiliary. She also had been a State of Iowa bond model.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a husband, Everett H. Myers; and a son.

She is survived by her husband, James F. Bussanmas of Bevington; three sons, Danny Davis of Johnston and Robert Davis of Johnston and Steven Davis of Urbandale; a daughter, Tonya Cox of West Des Moines; a stepdaughter, Sharon Hawk of Urbandale; a brother, Robert DeBord of Urbandale; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
