Blanche V. Buckles, 92, of St. Charles, Mo., died Feb. 24, 2004 at Barnes-St. Peters Hospital in St. Peters, Mo.
Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 27, at Forever Oak Hill Funeral Home in Kirkwood, Mo. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery in Kirkwood, Mo.
Blanche Buckles was born Jan. 8, 1912 in St. Louis, Mo. to George F. and Italia (Scribanze) Guion. She had been an accountant for Goldies Department Store.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Glen Buckles, Sr.; a son, Allen Glen Buckles Jr.; a sister, Margaret Tuttle and a brother, George Guion.
She is survived by a brother, Bob Guion of Winterset and two granddaughters and five great-grandchildren.
