H. C. Madden of Russellville, Ark., died at his home Friday night after a few days illness. Mr. Madden who was 67 years of age, had visited in Winterset a number of times, his wife being the former Mrs. Ada Nicholson of Winterset.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Henning of Omaha, and Mrs. Helen Reese of Illinois. He also leaves two brothers and a sister.
The funeral services for Mr. Madden were held at the Hymes funeral home in Omaha Monday afternoon at four o'clock, and burial was in the Forest Lawn cemetery in Omaha.
The Winterset relatives who drove to Omaha Monday to attend the funeral services were Walter and Ivor Schoenenberger, Mrs. Ralph Schoenenberger, Mrs. Guy Schoenenberger, Mrs. C. H. Peters, Mrs. J. W. Bunker and Mrs. Fred Hartsook.
