Winterset, IowaFORMER RESIDENT WAS KILLED IN CAR CRASH
Clyde B. Lane, 50 year old salesman for the Fox Chemical company of Des Moines, who was killed in an automobile accident north of Norwalk, on highway 28, Saturday, was a former Winterset resident. He and Mrs. Lane had an apartment, a year ago, at the Clyde Crossley residence, and he sold stock feed in this county.
He was killed and five other persons were injured seriously when two sedans collided headon, shortly before noon Saturday. His wife and two other residents of Gravity were seriously injured. The Lane car collided with one driven by Fay Keeney, Indianola constable, and Abe Traub, Warren county auditor who were delivering ballots for the special election of March 5th.
Funeral services for Mr. Lane were held at Gravity Tuesday afternoon.
