Death of Mrs. James Baird

Mrs. James Baird died at Glendale, California, the evening of December 22nd. She was past seventy years of age. For the past few years she had been making her home with her daughter and family, Dr. and Mrs. Tom Young.

For a number of years the family lived on a farm near Pitzer, later moving east of town and for several years resided in their home on East Court avenue. For sometime after Mr. Baird's death she remained in the home and later went to California.

Mrs. Baird was a member of the United Presbyterian church and was very faithful to her church devotions and to her friends. Besides her two daughters and two sons to mourn her loss she leaves two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Baird of Greenfield, Mrs. Will Niblo of Vinton, and a brother John Jack of North Dakota.

The sons are A. L. Baird, Glendale, California, Roy Baird of Rockford, Illinois and the two daughters, Mrs. Tom Young and Mrs. George Kapus of Glendale. One son, Taylor and the husband preceded her in death.

Funeral services and the burial were made at Glendale, where the other two have been laid to rest.
