Funeral services were held Jan. 10 from St. Malachy's Catholic church in Creston for James B. Barry, a former resident of Scott township and Winterset.
Mr. Barry died at his home in Creston on Jan. 6, following a year's illness.
He is survived by his wife, the former Pearl Dougherty, and four children, Mrs. Lela Ragan and Hubert of Des Moines, Emmert of Creston and Wilbur of Omaha, Nebr.
Burial was in Calvary cemetery in Creston.
