WM. ALLEN PEARSON DIES

William Allen Pearson, long time resident of Madison county, died at his home in Winterset, Tuesday evening, January 9th, after a short illness. Mr. Pearson was a son of Young and Sally Ann Pearson and was born in Marion county, February 22, 1855.

He was married December 23, 1883 to Polly Holmes and only two weeks ago, they observed their golden wedding anniversary. He leaves his wife and one son, E. Y. Pearson of Winterset. He also leaves three brothers, one sister, one half brother, four half sisters and two granddaughters, Mrs. Alfred Longmire and Mrs. Wm. Stine.

The Rev. F. W. Madson, pastor of the Baptist church conducted his funeral services, at the Ramsey-Richards funeral home, Thursday afternoon, January 11th at 2:30 o’clock, and burial was in the Winterset cemetery.
