Death of Mrs. Emma Ruth

Word was received here of the sudden death of Mrs. Emma Ruth former resident of Winterset, at the home of her son in Shenandoah Tuesday. Funeral services are to be held there this morning at 10 o’clock, and the body brought here for burial. Short services will be held at the Winterset cemetery between two and three o’clock this afternoon.

Mrs. Ruth was the wife of Wilson Ruth who died several years ago, and a sister-in-law of John and Joe Ruth and Mrs. Leah McDonald of this place. She was over 90 years of age and moved from here a number of years ago. She is survived by two children, Willard Ruth of Shenandoah and a daughter Nellie of Montana.
