Freddie Lee Houseman, son of Grace and Gaylord Houseman was born November 22, 1938 at Des Moines, and departed this life on June 27, 1940.

This little life covered the brief span of one year, seven months and five days. During his brief illness all that loving hands could do was done for his recovery which was to no avail. In his brief stay here he brought much joy and happiness into his home and among his relatives and friends which will never be forgotten.

His pleasant little smile and sunny disposition won the admiration and affection of all with whom he come in contact.

He leaves to mourn his departure his parents, two brothers, Billy and Buddy, his two grandmothers, Mrs. Ida McBride of Earlham, and Mrs. Lizzie Houseman of Des Moines, besides a number of other relatives and friends.
