MARTIN ISENBERGER SUCCUMBS AT TRURO

Practiced Veterinary Medicine in That Community for 25 Years

Truro-(Special)--Martin M. Isenberger, a veterinary physician at Truro for the past 25 years, died at his home there Sept. 30 after a long illness. He had been confined to his home for nearly three years. He was 62 years of age.

Mr. Isenberger was born in Hancock county, Illinois on Dec. 21, 1877, the son of J. J. and Catherine Isenberger. When he was 4 years old he came to Iowa with his parents, receiving his schooling in Clarke county. As a young man he engaged in farming near Truro, before starting the practice of veterinary medicine.

He was married on Oct. 21, 1900, to Inez M. Bonney. They were the parents of eight children. A year ago, he united with the Methodist church in Truro.

He is survived by his wife, and the eight children: Harold Isenberger of Osceola, Mrs. Mabel Seymour of Des Moines, Mrs. Alice Morris of Osage, Canada, Mrs. Pearl Saunders of Clinton, Mrs. Catherine Storcking of Chariton, Mrs. Queenie Gracey of Oak Park, Ill., and John and Harley Isenberger of Truro. He also leaves 14 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Nellie Eads of Truro; and a brother, William Isenberger of Lucas.
