ARCH HARPOLE DIES

Word has been received here of the death of Arch Harpole of Colfax, Ill. Mr. Harpole who was 71 years of age, died suddenly Friday, June 7th at his home, after a few hours illness.

Mr. Harpole had visited his relatives in Madison county a number of times. He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Doris Henderson of Colfax, and a nephew Francis Harpole, whom he had raised since he was a small boy.

He also leaves a sister, Mrs. Nellie Benson of Dexter, and two brothers, Gillette Harpole of Patterson and Alfred Harpole of Macksburg. His funeral services were held in Colfax Sunday, June 9th.

His sister, Mrs. Benson, his two brothers, Gillette and Alfred Harpole, his nephew, James Harpole, and two daughters, Doris and Maxine of Patterson left Saturday, June 8th, to attend the services, and returned to their homes near here last Tuesday.
