MRS. MAUDE GARRETT DIED EARLY WEDNESDAY

Mrs. Maude Garrett, long-time Winterset resident, died in Des Moines early Wednesday morning.

Mrs. Garrett was one of the oldest residents of this community, and for years operated a millinery store here.

She had been in failing health since breaking her hip in a fall last winter, and her death occurred at a nursing home in Des Moines.

Funeral services will be held from the Anderson home for funerals in Winterset Friday at 2 p.m. Burial will be made in the Winterset cemetery.
