MRS. ISABELLE FAUST DIES

St. Charles--(Special)--June 24.

Mrs. Isabelle Faust passed peacefully to rest Wednesday evening at the age of nearly 86 years. She was the daughter of Alec and Margaret McGinnis, old pioneer residents of Madison county, and Mrs. Faust had lived her entire life in St. Charles and nearby vicinity.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Thompson and Miss Ella Faust of St. Charles, Mrs. Chloe Romback of near Indianola, and one son, Arthur of St. Charles, thirteen grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. She also leaves three brothers, Alamander McGinnis of St. Charles, John of Birmingham, Alabama, Emerson of Minnesota, and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Lamb of St. Charles, many nephews and nieces and a host of friends.

Rev. Lucius L. Smith conducted her funeral services Saturday afternoon at the Methodist church with burial in the St. Charles cemetery beside her husband who preceded her in death many years ago.

DEATH CLAIMS MRS. C. W. FAUST

Was Resident of Madison Co. More than Three Score. Funeral Saturday.

Mrs. Charles W. Faust, 85-year-old resident of St. Charles, died at her home Wednesday evening of last week, following a several weeks suffering caused by as fall which injured her hip.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon in the Methodist church in St. Charles, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Lucius L. Smith. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.

Mrs. Smith (sic) is survived by one son, Arthur of St. Charles; three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Thompson and Miss Ella Faust of St. Charles and Mrs. Fred Romback of Indianola; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Lamb of St. Charles, two brothers, Alexander McGinnis of St. Charles and John McGinnis of Birmingham, Ala.; 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Isabell McGinnis, the daughter of Alex and Margaret McGInnis, was born Dec. 27, 1854, on Clanton Creek in Jackson township in Warren county, about three miles northeast of St. Charles.

Her parents were pioneers, settling there in 1851. She was married to Charles W. Faust on Nov. 25, 1872. They moved to a farm about two miles east of St. Charles where they lived until the death of Mr. Faust, Dec. 30, 1915. Soon afterward, Mrs. Faust and daughter Ella moved to St. Charles which had been her home until death. Mrs. Smith (sic) had been a member of the Methodist church for many years.
