MRS. TALITHA FINNEY DIED LAST SATURDAY

Funeral Rites Were Held on Tuesday, Burial at Oak Grove

Mrs. Talitha Annie Finney died at the Winterset hospital last Saturday at the age of 73 years.

Mrs. Finney was the former Talitha Annie Harvey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Harvey, and was born at Ankeny on July 21, 1867.

She was married on Dec. 2, 1884 to N. H Weems. They were the parents of five children, two of whom died in infancy, and a third Bessie, passing away in1933. Mr. Weems died in 1919.

Early in life she was baptized in the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was long a zealous member.

On Sept. 8, 1922, she was married to Lorenzo Finney, who also preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sons, Roy and David Weems, three sisters, a brother, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home Tuesday, in charge of Elder Asa E. Smith. Burial was made in the Oak Grove cemetery. Pallbearers were Sam Rogers, Fred Binns, Lloyd Brittain, Ross Rogers and Rush Herr.
