MRS. HAROLD DOWNARD DIES

Mrs. Harold Downard, who has been ill for the past two months, died at the Winterset hospital last Saturday at the age of 20 years. Mrs. Downard was the former Mildred Agnes Libby. She was born March 13, 1920, near Patterson, but attended the country schools and grew to womanhood on a farm near Lorimor.

The deceased was married to Harold L. Downard, Feb. 14, 1940, and the short period of her married life was spent on a farm near Lorimor.

She is survived by her husband; her parents, three brothers, Elmer W., Dale F., and Ernest L. Libby, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter W. Brown.

The Rev. J. Howard Machian conducted her funeral services Monday, July 8 at the Ramsey-Richards funeral home, and burial was made in the Winterset cemetery. Six cousins served as pallbearers: Harold and Frances Libby, Orville and Verl Dillinger, and Floyd and Darrell Linn.
