Winterset, IowaDEATH OF WALTER G. DEBORD
Walter G. DeBord, former resident of Madison county, died at St. Margaret's hospital in Kansas City, Mo., of heart trouble and complications Saturday. He was well known in Winterset, where he was employed in the implement business. For the past 16 years he has been in business with the Feld Motor company in Kansas City, Kan.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters of Chicago, a son, Harold DeBord of Moline, Ill., and a son Frank Hatfield of Kansas City, Kan. He also leaves a step son, Thomas Nugent of Muncie, Kan., three sisters, Mrs. Charles Herman of Winterset, Ruth Newell of Silvis, Ill., and Mary Ford of Moline, Ill., and two brothers, Cline DeBord of North Park, Neb., and Fred DeBord of Kansas City.
Funeral services were held at the Memory Gardens in Kansas City, Monday afternoon.
