Alice Jacobe

Alice Catherine Jacobe, daughter of Michael and Colista Iiams, was born in Madison county, Iowa, April 4, 1868 and died December 10, 1930. She was united in marriage to Casper Edward Jacobe, February 13, 1891. To this union five children were born, Beulah Wilber of Creston, Iowa, Frank Jacobe, Mrs. Gladys Campbell, Mrs. Ruby Thompson, Winterset and Edward of Webster City.

In early womanhood she united with the church. For several years her membership was in the Madison Chapel Church of Christ. At the time of her death she was a member of the Winterset Church of Christ. She has been in poor health for several years. Her illness deprived her of many privileges. She has lived in Winterset since 1925.

Those who mourn her death are; five children and seventeen grandchildren, five brothers and three sisters; William Iiams, Lewis, Arthur, Frank, Mrs. Della Dick, Mrs. Margaret Kirk and Mrs. Mary King.

Services conducted by Rev. H. L. Olmstead at the Church of Christ at 2:00 Friday, December 12th.

Death of Mrs. Alice Jacobe

Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Jacobe were held at the Church of Christ last Friday afternoon, December 12th at 2 o'clock. The body was taken to Woodruff, Kansas for burial.

The deceased, Alice Catherine Jacobe, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Iiams, and was born in Madison county, April 4, 1868. She had been in poor health for several years and died here, Wednesday, December 10th.

She was married to Casper Edward Jacobe February 13, 1891 and they were the parents of five children, who survive the mother; Mrs. Beulah Wilber of Creston, Frank Jacobe, Mrs. Gladys Campbell and Mrs. Ruby Thompson of Winterset and Edward of Webster City. She also leaves four brothers and three sisters; William, Lewis, Arthur and Frank Iiams; Mrs. Della Dick, Mrs. Margaret Kirk and Mrs. Mary King. Two sons, Frank and Edward, accompanied the body to Kansas.
