Funeral Rites to Be Held This Thursday at 10:30 o'clock
Mrs. Ella Callison, well-known Winterset woman, died here Tuesday after an extended period of failing heatlh. She was 76 years of age.
Mrs. Callison was the former Dulcina Ella Alexander, daughter of William and Franie Alexander, and was born May 6, 1864. She was the youngest of a family of nine children, all of whom preceded her in death.
She was united in marriage to Frank Dunbar in 1889. They were the parents of one child, a son, now Ray Dunbar of Winterset. He husband died a few years later, and in 1905 she was married to Samuel J. Callison. He passed away in 1920.
As a child she had affiliated with the Methodist church of Winterset, retaining her membership there until after her marriage to Mr. Callison, when she transferred to the Winterset Church of Christ.
In addition to her son, she is survived by three grandchildren, Clarence and William Dunbar of Winterset, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held this Thursday at 10:30 a.m. from the Church of Christ, in charge of the pastor, the Rev. Tom Foglesong. Burial will be made in the Winterset cemetery.
