“MEMORIAL”

Douglas Grange, No. 295, Feb. 13, 1873

Whereas, It hath pleased our Divine Master to remove from us by death Mrs. Catherine Gideon, wife of our worthy Brother Peter Gideon, therefore

Resolved, that in this Providence a worthy sister of this Order, a true Christian and a kind and faithful wife and mother, has been called from our midst.

Resolved, That the members of this Grange deeply sympathize with the husband and children of the departed one in their sad affliction.

Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions be sent to the Iowa Homestead, The Madisonian and the Winterset News with a request that they be published, and to the family of the deceased.
