MRS. DONALD BROWNE OF ST. CHARLES DIES

Well Known Young Woman Leaves Two Small Daughters

St. Charles--(Special)--Mrs. Donald Browne, a widely known young woman of this community, died suddenly here Monday night. She was about 33 years of age.

Mrs. Browne was widely known throughout Madison county through her activities as president of the county Rural Letter Carriers auxiliary. She had been in poor health for some time, but her condition was not considered serious until shortly before her death.

She is survived by her husband, and two daughters, Donna, aged 15, and Carol Dean, aged 10.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. this Friday from the St. Charles Methodist church.

MRS. D. BROWNE DIES SUDDENLY

Mrs. Donald Browne, 36-year-old wife of rural mail carrier in St. Charles, died suddenly Monday night in the Pleasantville Hospital where she had been receiving treatment for the past two weeks. Although Mrs. Browne had suffered with Rheumatism for quite some time, her condition was not considered as serious, and death was a shock to relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at two o’clock in the Methodist church in St. Charles. Burial will be made in St. Charles.

Mrs. Browne was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thompson and was born in St. Charles. She spent her entire life in and near that community.

She is survived by her husband and two daughters, Geraldine and Donna of St. Charles; her mother and father; and four sisters of Detroit, Michigan and a brother, Ralph, of Washington D. C.
