Former Resident Passed in Talent, Oregon On June 1
Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Benjamin B. Clark on June 1st at her home in Talent, Oregon. Cynthia Oliva Clark was 62 years of age, and died after an illness of two days. Her funeral services were held at the C. M. Litwiller chapel in Ashland, Oregon, and interment was made in the Stearns cemetery in Talent.
Mrs. Clark was born in Madison county, March 4, 1879, and with her family moved to Talent, from South Dakota, in 1934. She is survived by her husband, and their seven children. She also leaves twenty-two grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Clara Penn of Winterset, Mrs. W. G. Brown of Lamar, Colorado, Mrs. E. M. Holmes of Hensler, N. Dakota, and two brothers, Everett E. Mills of Trenton, New Jersey, and Garwin E. Mills of Osgood, Iowa.
