LOSES LIFE BY DROWNING

Harry Hawk, A Former Madison County Resident, Drowns in St. Joseph River at Elkhart, Indiana

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hawk, of this place, received a telegram on Tuesday announcing that their nephew, Harry Hawk, had died by drowning at Elkhart, Indiana, and that the funeral services would be held on Wednesday. No further particulars have been received.

Mr. Hawk was well known in the west part of the county and the news of his death will be heard with deepest regret. The young man was a machinist by trade and employed in the shops of the Lake Shore Railroad Co. Mr. and Mrs. Hawk left for Elkhart Tuesday evening.
