WILLIAM RATLIFF DIES

Former Winterset Resident Had lived Recent Years at Marion

William E. Ratliff, former Winterset resident, died at his home in Marion, last Saturday morning, at the age of 74 years. Funeral services for Mr. Ratliff were held at the Ramsey-Richards funeral home Monday morning, and burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.

The deceased was a son of Mr. and Mrs. D. G. Ratliff, pioneer residents of Winterset, who for many years operated a store here. For the past twenty years, Mr. Ratliff has lived in Cedar Rapids and Marion.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. E. E. Weston of Whittier, Cal., and Mrs. A. B. Herron of Tyler, Idaho. He also leaves an aunt, Mrs. J. W. Frankelburger of Winterset.
