RAYMOND ANDERSON OF WINTERSET DIES

Young Business Man of This Community Was 25 Years Old

Raymond Robert Anderson, well known Winterset young man, died Monday at his home here after a week's illness with heart trouble. Mr. Anderson had been in poor health for the past seven years, but continued with his work as long as possible. He was born near Winterset, Dec. 3, 1916, and had always made his home in this community.

On December 24, 1937, he was married to Miss Delpha Gill, and they are the parents of two sons, Lowell Wayne, aged two and one-half years, and Keith Eldon, aged eight months. He also leaves his mother, Anna M. Anderson, his father, R. R. Anderson, a brother, Eldon Anderson of Marshalltown, and two sisters, Mrs. Thomas Bole of Des Moines, and Mrs. Elsie Howard of Winterset.

Raymond attended the Winterset high school and later was in the produce and poultry business. For the past year he had been engaged in pond construction work. He is a member of the Church of Christ.

The Rev. Tom Foglesong conducted his funeral services at the Church of Christ, Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 17th, at 2 p.m. and burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
