FREDERICK M. STEWART - Winterset

Frederick M. Stewart, 76, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2007 at Winterset Care Center South. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 7, at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 6 at the funeral home. Private family burial will take place at Laurel Hill Cemetery at a later date.

Fred was born April 27, 1931 and lived in the Des Moines area most of his life. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Fred was a truck driver for LeRoy Wade and Son until his retirement.

Fred is survived by his children, CherAnne (Joe) Starlin, Patricia (Jerry) Carico, Frederick Stewart, Mary (Dennis) House and Sandra Held; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Eloise; granddaughter, Jessica Rayleen VanSickle and great- grandson, Cayden Stewart.
