E. L. MACUMBER DIES

E. L. Macumber, former Madison county resident, died at his home near El Reno, Okla., Feb. 25 at the age of 87 years. Mr. Macumber was born in this county, Jan. 18, 1854, and here he was married to Miss Harriet Blythe, in 1875.

The family moved to Oklahoma in 1898 and had lived there since that time. Mr. Macumber was a member of the Odd Fellow and Masonic lodges.

He is survived by his five sons: Charles W. of Okarche, Okla., John A. of Omaha, Neb., Clarence of El Reno, Walter of Chicago, Ill., and Homer Macumber of Oklahoma City, Okla. He is also survived by a brother, George Macumber of Lormor, seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

A nephew, Ora Macumber of Lincoln township went to El Reno to attend his funeral services.
