FRED LEE DIES

Fred Lee, former Winterset resident, died at his home in Lamar,Colo., last Friday evening at the age of 79 years. Mr. Lee had been seriously ill for several weeks.

Fred Lee, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Lee, was born and raised in Winterset. He married here to Miss Minnie Deeter, but they moved to Lamar fifty years ago, when the town was first settled. He was in the theatre business at Lamar for many years.

He is survived by his wife and their three children. He also leaves two sisters, Miss Bess Lee and Mrs. Lee Graham of Winterset. His parents, and three sisters, and a brother, June Jennie, Ida and Harry Lee have preceded him in death.

Mrs. Graham went to Lamar Saturday night and funeral services for Mr. Lee were held at Lamar Tuesday, July 22.
