Sudden Death at Patterson

Sunday night or early Monday morning occurred the death of Mrs. T. S. Love, of Patterson, from a stroke of apoplexy. The death was very sudden and of course a great shock to family and friends. The funeral services occurred Tuesday at the Methodist church conducted by Rev. Mr. Hickey of Des Moines.

Death Of MARY E. LECKLITER LOVE

Mary E. Leckliter was born in Belmont county, Ohio, April 15, 1836 and was married to Thos S. Love September 7, 1864. Five children were born to them four of whom still survive. They came to Madison county in 1867 and lived here until her death, Nov. 10, 1902.

The funeral services were held in the Methodist church on Wednesday morning following her death, conducted by Rev. Hickey of Des Moines, after which the remains were taken to Winterset for interment. She leaves a host of friends to mourn her loss.
