Former Resident and Old Time School Teacher Dies at Bellingham, Wash.
John Doak, brother of Herbert and Miss Lucy Doak of Winterset died at St. Joseph’s hospital in Bellingham, Washington, on February 25th at the age of 74. He had been in the Bellingham hospital for several months prior to his death.
Mr. Doak formerly lived in Jackson township in this county, his parents moving here from Pennsylvania. Fifty years ago he taught rural school in Jackson township, later moving west where he has since resided.
