Funeral Services Held on Monday, With Burial at St. Charles
Olive Florance Shreves, a long-time resident of Winterset, died here last Saturday at the age of 68 years.
Miss Shreves was born in Madison county on Oct. 20, 1872. She was the seventh daughter of Jonah and Elizabeth Shreves. In 1881 she moved with her parents to a Warren county farm, three miles northeast of St. Charles. She lived there until the death of her parents, and then moved to Winterset.
In 1900 she was baptized in the Methodist church of St. Charles.
She is survived by two sisters, Zulema Shreves of Winterset and Mrs. Sadie Bean of Chicago.
Funeral services were held Monday from Anderson's home for funerals in Winterset, and burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
