MRS. SAMUEL KRELL DIES

Mrs. Samuel Krell, former Madison county resident, died early Sunday morning in Omaha, at the age of 84 years. Mrs. Krell had been in poor health, but she had not been ill, and death came as she slept.

The body was brought back here and the Rev. P. H. Beckman conducted her funeral services at the Oak Grove Evangelical church Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock, and burial was made in the Pleasant View cemetery.

Barbara Shaw Krell was born on October 25, 1856 in Brown county, Ohio, and moved with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Shaw to Madison county in her late teens. She was married to Samuel Krell, March 6, 1879, and they lived here before moving to Omaha. They were the parents of four sons, all of whom survive their mother. Mr. Krell died in 1902.

The deceased is survived by the sons: Arthur of Chicago, Moody of Hampton, Wilbur of San Mateo, Cal., and Alfred Shaw of Omaha. She also leaves eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren, three sisters, and one brother: Mrs. M. C. Shaw of Winterset, Eliza Brown of Cutknife, Saskatchewan, Canada, Emma Krell of Omaha and George Shaw of Winterset.
