FORMER RESIDENT IS BURIED HERE

Mrs. Martha Jane Heiny Died Sunday at Beech; Rites Held Tuesday

Mrs. Martha Jane Heiny, formerly of near Bevington, died Sunday at Beech, Ia. She was 74 years of age.

Mrs. Heiny was the former Martha Jane Cason, daughter of T. T. and Lois Cason, and was born near Bevington on June 17, 1869. On Sept. 28, 1887, she was married to Thomas M. Leasure. He died in 1919; and on Jan. 24, 1923, she was married to W. A. Heiny of Beech which had since been her home.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Frank Leasure of Altoona; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held here Tuesday from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home, in charge of the Rev. W. A. Samp, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
